Nancy Rockland-Miller will join Feb. 10 Song & Story Swap

Please come share in an evening of music and stories at the Pioneer Valley Folklore Society Song & Story Swap.

Sunday, February 10 , 7:00-9:30 p.m. at the The Nacul Center, 592 Main St., Amherst, Mass (see map).

Nancy Rockland-Miller began her musical career with children, writing songs about self esteem and the challenges of growing up. She describes having been "graced with countless grants" due to the meaningfulness of her musicianship with kids. Consequently, she toured the local elementary schools, performing The Lemonade Parade, an original musical based on her songs.

As her own kids grew up, her expression as a song writer took a parallel course. Over the last 10 years she has become a popular and well-recognized Valley musician, frequenting venues such as the Iron Horse and The Black Sheep. Join us on February 10, 2008 at the Nacul Center as Rockland-Miller, backed up by musicians Jill Cohen and Doug Hewitt, sooth your soul with powerful lyrics, breathtaking harmonies, and overall good sound.
