About the PVFS Song & Story SwapThe Pioneer Valley Folklore Society Song & Story Swap happens the 2nd Sunday of each month (except August) at The Nacul Center in Amherst, Mass., 7:00-9:00 p.m. Folksinger and songwriter Paul Kaplan is the regular host.
The Song and Story Swaps consist of three segments:
There is no admission fee — a hat is passed during the guest artist's performance for donations. $5 is suggested. The guests will often have CDs available to buy.
Beginning September, 2006 the Song & Story Swap will be held near downtown Amherst at The Nacul Center, a former Methodist Chapel that has been renovated into studios, a gallery and a lovely 60-seat performance space.
We would like to thank Mark "Harpo" Power and the friendly staff at The Harp Irish Pub for hosting the Song & Story Swap from February through July.

Nacul Center is located at 592 Main St. in Amherst, Mass., one-and-a-half
blocks east of the railroad tracks.
