Agnes Zsigmondi will be featured guest at Nov. 12 Song & Story Swap

Please come share in an evening of music and stories at the November Pioneer Valley Folklore Society SONG & STORY SWAP.

Sunday, November 12, 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the The Nacul Center, 592 Main St., Amherst, Mass.

Agnes Zsigmondi will join the Nov. 12 Song & Story Swap at the Nacul Center in AmherstGuest performer will folk and jazz singer Agnes Zsigmondi.

A native of Budapest, Hungary, Agnes Zsigmondi began performing in 1972 when she joined the Hungarian folk dancing group Bihari. She studied at the Bela Bartok Conservatory and gained recording and international touring experience through stints with European bands Rajko and Kolinda.

After touring Paris as a soloist, Agnes Zsigmondi moved to the United States where she has performed throughout the Northeast, captivating audiences with her blend of Eastern European rhythms and melodies infused with jazz, folk, hip-hop and Latin elements. Her two solo CDs are titled Change and Water Woman.
